Anthony Milford & Pre-Game Rituals | Rexona Pressure AthletesOtis Rodgers November 19, 2019 2 Comments
– Rexona Pressure Athletes – Anthony Milford: The pressure I feel before the games is my nerves, what I’m going to do in the game. Being mentally strong, I think its 60% of the job, the 40% is all the physical stuff you do. Before the game, I write on my arm. On top I write family in Samoan. It gives me a reminder of who I play for by the time I take the field. All my hard work comes from my faith and that’s what I always put my belief in. I’ve always had “BE STRONG” and my other one is “FEEL”. Having a sense of feeling of what’s around me and just feel in the game. When I’m really struggling, all the boys need something strong from me and that’s the time I know I need to dig deep. Wearing the number 6 jersey has a lot of expectations so to wear it is very humbling and a privilege. I always just take a big, deep breath in and have a look at the whole stadium and then just have in my head how thankful and grateful I am for being in this position and then that’s when it’s just go time.
