Differences Between Orthodox and Atheists (Pencils & Prayer Ropes)Otis Rodgers October 14, 2019 91 Comments
Hello my siblings in Christ and welcome to one of the most requested videos ever! So, it begins right now! Orthodox believe that there is one God. Atheists do not. Orthodox believe that God is the Trinity of three divine Persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, with the Son being eternally begotten of the Father and the Holy Spirit eternally proceeding from the Father. Atheists do not. Orthodox believe that Jesus existed. Atheists say that He did or didn’t. Orthodox make the sign of the cross by joining the thumb, the index finger and the middle finger of their right hand, while folding the other two, and thus touching the forehead, navel, right shoulder and left shoulder. Atheists do not. Atheists have a day off on Christmas. Orthodox have a day off on Christmas. Orthodox believe that God is the creator of the entire universe. Atheists say that He isn’t. Orthodox make a distinction between the essence and the natural and substantial operation flowing from the essence in line with the relationship of cause and effect. The essence is imparticipable, the operation is participable; both the one and the other are uncreated and eternal. Wholly unknowable in His essence, God wholly reveals Himself in His energies, yet in no way divide His nature into two parts, knowable and unknowable, but signifies two different modes of the divine existence, in the essence and outside of the essence. Atheists say no. Orthodox believe that the soul is conscious after death, awaiting resurrection. Atheists claim that there is no resurrection. Also that the soul isn’t conscious. Also that there is no soul. Orthodox believe that God’s commandments are for all people and that objective morality is to be found within them. Atheists believe that there is no such thing as objective morality. Orthodox believe that magic is sin. Atheists believe that there is no magic. Or sin. Orthodox argue with atheists. On the other hand, atheists argue with Orthodox. Atheists teach that there is no Zeus. Orthodox also teach that there is no Zeus. waaaat Orthodox are accused of being Satanists by fringe Evangelical groups. Atheists are also accused of being Satanists by fringe Evangelical groups. And thus, common ground was found. Peace was signed. There was much merriment. Friendships were cultivated and good vibrations abounded. But this was all a ploy, for Orthodox conspired to slaughter all the atheists because God told them so, and atheists plotted to kill all Orthodox because there is no objective morality so why not. I am so thankful for giving you this opportunity to learn, because internet is, above all else, a place for learning. So, remember to subscribe, and there will be many more useful videos like this. Bye.
