Gay Orthodox Rabbi

Orthodox Jews practice a strict
interpretation of the Torah laws, which they believe are
eternal and unalterable. Leviticus 18:22 is the verse
in the Torah that according to common interpretations
prohibits male homosexual intercourse. Ron Yosef is a Rabbi in an Orthodox
Community in the Israeli city of Netanya. In August 2009, Rabbi Ron came out
in the open about being a homosexual. There are people in the community
that took it very hard, and turned to other Rabbis to check
if I can continue in my position. Some showed support, understanding
and encouraged me, especially the younger generation. The circle of conversation expanded,
and it can’t be ignored anymore. Nearly a quarter of Israel’s Jewish
population practice Orthodox Judaism. Around the world there are hundreds
of thousands more Orthodox Jews. In this very conservative society,
one Leviticus verse was enough to make
homosexuality a social taboo. It is true that the Jewish Torah
forbids homosexual intercourse. For a religious gay man
sex life is always grey. and… As long as there is no
verdict on these issues by today’s religious scholars
– and there isn’t even any dealing with the issue – how can I
give anybody any answers. Unlike others who stay in
the closet, Rabbi Ron has placed his personal life in the public spotlight.
He has taken the topic of religious gays out of the closet by
exposing the inner conflict he is living through
as an Orthodox homosexual. It is very hard to live… without a sex life. But a religious heterosexual also
has restraints and is not allowed to do whatever he wants because
The Holy One has created a certain path and is leading humanity in a certain way.
That is the main part of being a man of faith. If you believe that this world
has a creator that is directing everything, and he has provided
clear instructions, so one must “stick to the manual”,
even if it makes life difficult. In 2008 – when he was still
in the closet – Rabbi Ron created Israel’s first organization for
orthodox homosexuals, called HOD. The goals of the organization “HOD”
is to create a public discourse about homosexuality, and also provide
support and help for religious gays from all streams of Judaism.
I’m sorry to say I still meet people who say there no homosexuals
in the religous community. Today, HOD holds open meetings
all around Israel, and supports religious individuals
who are in the coming out process. But most of the Rabbi’s volunteer
work in HOD is dedicated to getting recognition to a new
Principles Document that accepts the existence of Jewish
religious homosexuals. The Principals Document is
suppose to bring a social and religious solution for
Orthodox homosexuals. We’re trying to find a way for gays
to be accepted in a Orthodox world that follows Jewish law without
attempting to change what is forbidden. We are trying to teach
and explain, in the religious world
and directly to the Rabbis. I hope and believe that this
Principals Document will eventually be accepted by the
leading Orthodox Rabbis. Undercover as an energetic society
changer, Rabbi Ron is also an individual, I asked him if he
would like to get married one day. The need that I feel is for love, because living in solitutde is
not correct and not good. It is written in The Book
“It is not good for man to be alone”. Up until today there was zero
recognition of religious homosexuals, First the Orthodox society must
accept the existence of gays. Once there will be acceptance
and understanding than we can start discussing how to relate
to homosexual relations. After coming out of the closet
Ron Yosef continued to serve as a community Rabbi in Natanya,
but his Principals Document has – so far – been approved by only a few
of the leading Rabbi is Israel. He believes that in the
future homosexuals will be a normal part of the
religious Jewish Society. As long as it is not hurting the path
which the creator of the world paved than I don’t see a problem.
Again, there are many questions here and… the religious public and the Rabbis will have to provide the answers very soon.

Dear Rose, you are perfectly normal in your reaction. Woman are made to feel compassion. A mother usually will invest much more energy and care for her sick child than for her healthy one.
Homosexuality is a sickness and appeals to her in her fathomless

No it means ‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable

It means do not let a woman have intercourse with a man in the form of reversal of rolls. Much like a man should be a man and a woman should be a woman. When a man becomes a woman and a woman becomes a man God forbids it. Leviticus 18:22

This is what I am saying: You as a Hebrew believer who has made an agreement or covenant with EhYeh to obey His commandments and stay away from sexual immorality. If you live in sexual immorality you are profaning that agreement. What if you break the commandment what are you supposed to do. You are supposed to repent. Repent in the sense that you simply ask for forgiveness and stay away from the sin that led you away from the Way (HaLakha) that leads to New Jerusalem. God forgives because He is loving and kind towards all His children but harsh like a disciplinarian correcting His children. But what about the defiling effect of sin? Now you need to be cleansed of that defiling effect and the GUILT that packing sin upon sin brings. One man has prayed for all both Israelite and non-Israelite like a person pleading to El Shaddai not to punish sinners but to give them a chance, a reprieve, simply grace which is love they do not deserve because they broke His Law whether intentionally or unknowingly. Just like Aaron Moshe's brother would carry out a sacrifice to atone for Yisrael's and his sins. Yehshua Emanuel the son of Yosef has done something similar but more perfect. While He Yehshua was dying on the cross He prayed to EHYEH that sinners who are willing to repent would receive forgiveness. God El Shaddai listening to YehShua's intercession forgives sinners both Israelite and non-Israelite. We do not deserve Shaddai's love if we are habitual sinners but He is gracious meaning that He loves us even when we do not deserve it patient with us hoping that we change our ways for the better. May EhYeh forgive your sins for Yehshua's sake. The Messiah did not die for nothing. And His resurrection gives us hope.

I don't try to bullshit other people about "eating bacon is kosher", so stop the nonsense, it's just rude to lie to yourself and others.

The underlying principle in Jewish thought states that every man is born with, both, a good and bad inclination. This, in itself, is not bad, nor is an abnormality. The problem, however, arises when one wishes to "cross over the line" and seeks to gratify his "evil inclination," based on the prototypical models of right and wrong in the Hebrew Bible. In the final analysis, it is man that decides how he is to act. Most men will, at some time in their lives, succumb to their "evil inclination," as it is written: "There is not a righteous man upon earth that does good and sins not" (Ecclesiastes 7,20). For this reason, repentance (and in some cases, affliction) atones for most sins.

It is my personal understanding that HaShem, Architect of The Universe, created human beings male and female, in His/Her Image…perhaps it is we, the ordinary mortals, who fail to comprehend the workings of That Which Is, Was, and Will Be. In infinite mercy, homosexuality was embedded in the DNA of certain people, to love others of their same gender, so that all might see G-D is Love through every working.

It would at least sound better if they were to say "Orthodox persons who are gay" . It's like referring to people of African descent as " The Blacks".

ALL HOMOSEXUALS ARE DEMON POSESSED.  HE NEEDS TO GET RID OF HIS DEMONS, NOT TRY TO FIND A WAY AROUND TORAH IN ORDER TO PRACTICE HOMOSEXUALITY.  G-D'S WORD IS TRUTH AND HE WILL NEVER, NEVER, NEVER CHANGE. WHENHE JUDGES AT THE END OF THE WORLD, THIS RABBI AND ALL THE THOUSANDS THAT HE LED INTO SIN, WILL GO TO HELL.

There used to be a man that laid with man, who although he laid with man retained his manhood. He was the king, the king B, until August 16 1981. I opened my mouth that day and God filled it with words saying 'King of kings–Droids Defused', at that very moment you might say all man's sins were poured upon mankind. That's 37 years ago and anybody in their 30's would have no idea what I’m talking about, but the King B the got his just reward. Since that day it’s been 'he who steals man—so shall He be stole’. They've all become like women. Many of those in denial of what God has taken from them, still believe they're men. My opinion is, I believe it affects 50% of the men right in the USA alone. Don't you see Rabbi Ron, God has' made the decision…He just hasn't acted yet.

Funny thing about those women, they still call a man who's always ready a machine (droid) today.
If none of this is true may יהוה strike me Dead.
The sovereign one sent by the sovereign God,
    The one nobody believes.
Bless the sovereign God of Israel Jehovah!

He is a very handsome man, I would love to have a man like him with so much courage next to me as my partner.
