Is God a HIM?… a HER, IT, THEY? | Going There

(chiming percussion music) – [Oscar] That was in a park in Delaware and it was all fun and games until (drumming music) – Ugh, argh! – [Oscar] If there is a hell, I imagine it feels a lot
like rolling your ankle. Ouch! Anyway, welcome back. My name is Oscar, this is Alexa, and we’re on a road trip all over America, having conversations with people
about life’s big questions. Today is the big one, God,
religion, spirituality. Let’s do it. ♫ Hey hey hey hey ♫ Ah ah ah ah ah OK, so before we get our hands
dirty, you need to know this. I am no expert and have very
little experience with this. These are just my opinions,
ideas and questions, I’ve accumulated my 20 years. I’m not trying to preach
or convince anyone, I’m just a guy with some questions, who talked to some people about them. That being said, I don’t know
if I believe in God or not. Also, religion is very confusing. Let me back up a bit. (vinyl record scratching) I was raised in religion
and I think I believed, because it’s all I knew and ’cause I was scared not to, you know, with the whole Hell thing. But it was around high school, when I started seriously
doubting the religion and the whole notion of
a bearded man in the sky keeping tabs on me and eventually I chalked it
all up to a bunch of baloney. But in the last year or so,
I’ve been finding myself making an argument for
the existence of God, or of something. On one side I think, well,
we’re born into religion. We accept God and everything
that comes with it as facts and truth and then we get older
and have our own kids and the cycle continues, all the while being totally confident that we have the right religion
out of the 4,000 other ones. But if we had been born in a
different part of the world, we’d be in the same situation
with a whole different God, religion and rituals, so at what point is it
just a bunch of stuff, people made up to control
and manipulate the masses, and something that for
centuries has divided us and been the root cause of war, bloodshed, hatred and judgment. Now I know it sounds like
I have my mind made up. I don’t, because on the other side, religion is what for centuries
has brought us together. It gives people a sense of community and brings meaning to their lives, instills good values and morals and has done a whole lot
of good in the world. So, I’m evenly 50-50 and
when we hit the road, I found that this was the
most interesting thing to talk to people about. – I was raised in a kind
of strict kind of family, you know, very religious. – We had a picture of Jesus on the wall, that was like the one
where the eyes look at you, you know what I’m saying? – I just need something to
hold on to and to believe in. – A lot of people were
of the same religion and I was really made to
feel like I didn’t belong. – You’re gonna go to Hell. You will. – It pits somebody with one
set of beliefs against another. – It’s all fine and good, until you start, you know, killing others
in the name of it. – And even me, and even the
church I go to, we have flaws. – There’s a spiritual side
of yourself that you feel. – Do I believe, do I not believe? It’s this like really
crazy, suffocating struggle. – It’s part of our human
experience to constantly question. – [Oscar] I don’t know about you, but I’m still getting confused when I muddle religion and God into one, so let’s start with religion. – Because our soul is
searching for something and longs for God, that we love
to replace it with religion. – The way I run this business,
the way I treat my children, the way I treat other people
is based on the scriptures. – And then I start to question
a lot of that (laughs). There are philosophers
that really don’t need God to have a moral existence, to have a good life. – Organized religion’s never been for me. I just see so much hypocrisy. – During times of slavery, he grew up in a slave-holding town. The newspapers, the
community, even his own church said, “This is a good thing. “God wants you to do it
and if you have any doubts, “go ahead and look into
scripture and that’ll show you “that God wants us to have slaves.” Now take that to modern times. God doesn’t want gay
people to be together. Really? I thought God just wanted
us all to love each other. – You’re gay, you’re going to Hell. Why? You’re sleeping with a man. I’d like to think that my God has got a lot bigger issues to deal with, than who somebody’s sleeping with. – The hard part, when
you’re following Jesus and infer churches are that
churches are run by humans and we’re all broken and trying
to figure things out too. – [Oscar] It’s interesting
how much people and religion have changed in just the last century and if we think back further
to when ancient civilizations worshiped many Gods and Goddesses, we think, “Oh, they had
it all wrong, but not us, “no, we have it totally right.” But eventually future civilizations are gonna look back at us the same way, so is anyone ever really right? – The faith that I’m a
part of has knowledge, that other religions don’t have. – You might believe in something else, then you are wrong, you are lost. – None of us know about God, until we die and we may not even know then. Anything else is what
somebody’s made up in their mind and they’ve decided that
we’re gonna latch onto it and we’re gonna believe that. – And part of the reason
I made up my own religion is because I was like, “What,
isn’t all religion made up? “And why can’t I make up my own?” – The thing about Sikhism in a lot of ways is that it is a universal religion, so its fundamentals are
kind of grounded in, you know, being a better
person, serving others, doing those types of
things, that I think align with just the type of person I wanna be. – The tenets of every religion is, “Hey, we all just wanna get along,” you know. – I feel we’re all trying
to go to the same place, but we just have different
paths trying to get there. – Well, every one of us
has a spiritual life. We all have a soul. – [Oscar] I guess when I think about it, of course people think they
have the right belief system, ’cause if they didn’t,
why would they believe it? But what confuses me is when we think everyone else is totally wrong. Like, who are we to tell someone what they believe in is
wrong, if it’s their truth and something they deeply
feel in their hearts? – I have no idea how it is and… I’m not gonna try to
force anything on anyone, but I don’t think it’s right for anyone to force anything on me. – [Oscar] One thing that came up a lot in these conversations
was afterlife and loss. It always seemed to play a
big role in someone’s faith, sometimes pushing them away, and other times pulling them closer. – You know, when people
die, that you’ve loved, what happens, where do they go? – Like I lost my Mom and I think that was really a dark time for me, where I was like, “I
don’t believe in God,” like, “How could I have
practiced for so long “and felt like, you know, like
life can still be so shitty.” – ‘Cause life without Him
meant there was no life and there was something
bigger than myself, that carried me through that. – But you ask yourself,
when you finish talking, where I’m gonna go when I die. – [Oscar] I don’t know, I
guess if there is a Heaven, awesome, it sounds like
a party I wanna be at, but I also think we can’t really know, or at least I don’t, so I’m perfectly happy
with this life being it. – You’re gonna die,
you’re gonna die in Hell, you know that, right? (vinyl record scratching) – [Oscar] Ouch! He was a nice guy, though and one thing I really admire and wish I had is his conviction, that same unshakeable conviction, that all people with a strong faith have and I noticed that a lot of the time, those people seemed to be
at peace with everything and are just good people
who do good things. So, it makes me wanna
be a part of that club and feel what they feel. – When I met Jesus, it did
something inside my soul. It brought life and love. – I usually don’t believe
anything I can’t prove, or touch or see, but
that’s where the caveat is. I, I, I believe I can touch, see and… I know what’s real. – It’s a personal relationship, just like if you had your
grandfather with you all the time and you’re leaning on his wisdom. – [Oscar] But I feel like for
me to have that connection, and faith, I need to have
one of those divine moments some people have, like when
God just touches their forehead and changes their life forever, ’cause I ask too many questions, I’m too skeptical to just
will myself into believing. – I had an encounter with the Lord. He became my Lord and savior. – I didn’t know what to
pray, but I just like, “God, I just… “I’m here, like I want, you know, “I really do want you in my life.” – And I kid you not, it’s like somebody grabbed me by my shirt and dragged me into the
woods about 30 yards to one specific spot
and said, “Look down,” and there was my bike
and ever since that day, I knew who that was, period. Listen, I don’t walk into the woods. I’m black, we don’t go, only get houses. We don’t chase the monster,
the monster’s over there, I don’t need to see, “Whoa, what was that? “I’m going that way,” you know what I’m saying. – How about praying and
letting God lead you? See what falls into place for you. – [Oscar] To be completely honest, I was kinda hoping I’d
have some divine epiphany and find what I was looking for, but that never happened. It was more of an accumulation of ideas from having these
conversations with people of all different belief systems and with Alexa and with
myself on long drives, so I do feel a little more firm in what I believe and what I don’t, but I’m also very aware
that I’m only 20 years old, and that I have so little
real life experience, like I’ve never had kids,
I’ve never been married and I’ve never experienced real loss. These are the things that shape us and often affect our spirituality. – I can’t say that I’m
a spiritual person now. I would say that I find
a lot of meaning in life and that makes me feel good. – You feel like it’s no
longer nature, God, human, that they all just kind of come together. He talks about the transparent eyeball. “I am nothing, I see all. “The currents of the universal
being circulate through me. “I am part or particle of God.” – There’s too many coincidences, that our existence could be an accident. – Just take a look at your hand. Look at your fingerprints. No two people have the
same identical fingerprints all over the world. Now you tell me what man made that. – It’s easy for my small
intelligence, my small brain to put that person into a human context. – But w’re so human and we’re still trying to take divine principles and
implement them in human ways and it’s never gonna be perfect. – But the truth is, like,
you don’t have to define it. You know, spirituality or God or religion like doesn’t have to be one thing. It’s all relative to what it is for you. – Follow me. There’s gotta be something more powerful than we see, we smell, we
feel, it’s gotta be there. – A higher God, a higher power and that all of those connect back and that there is a thread,
that connects all of us. – I don’t know, I just,
the religion I have is love, I guess. I try and love people, love
this life, love this existence. – [Oscar] Me, personally,
I think there is a God, or some loving creative force, that set this whole thing in motion and is the reason we exist, though I don’t think of the bearded man I was raised to know,
or that he, she or it judges or condemns us. I think God is pure love and the best way that
I can show my gratitude is by being out in the
world that He created, by loving my fellow man and
woman and enjoying this life, that by the way is so
crazy we get to live. I mean, we’re here, alive
and are able to love, create, make art and dance. Also, sometimes I have
these tiny moments of bliss. They’re few and far between, but they come when I see or
hear something beautiful, or when I’m creating
and doing what I love. I mean, it fills me up with
so much joy and enthusiasm, especially if it touches
someone in some way, like through doing what I love, I’m connecting with other human beings. Like, that’s crazy, but what do I know? Say something. – Uh. (laughing) – OK, so I wanna know what you think about all this God,
religion, spirituality stuff. Let us know in the Comments below and we’ll see you next time. – Uh. ♫ Soul pancake ♫ Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah ♫ Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah ♫ Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

I don't believe in religion. I believe in God. I believe in God the one who I always feel with me. The one that when I let him into my life, I changed and became a better person. The one that even though we're not perfect and we sin he does not condemn us for that but loves us for who we are. And we are his children that he made and put so much love and effort to makes us in a way that he finds absolutely beautiful and loves. The one who loves you know matter what and longs for you to touch people.

Awe man it's so cool reading all these post! You really opened the floor well to let people share with out criticism! Personally I believe in Jesus and that he died to save all of us from the separation from God that we deserve. And I believe when we accept that sacrifice, realizing we can never save ourselves, we get the Holy Spirit which is like God living in us and helping us show his love to others and live in a way the that pleases him(: I believe that I'm soooo not perfect and still a very messed up person and that's why I need Jesus! But I also know I'm not who I was and the Holy Spirit is changing me day by day. Hope this speaks to whoever reads it(: you are loved!

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."-James 1:27

There are many version of the bible, but i like the phrasing used here in the NIV. I am a Christian, and i do believe that there is one God and one only, however, i also believe that many people get a misconstrued concept of this harsh god that wants to punish and destroy. Many people look at the story of the flood and think "God tried to wipe out humanity!" completely missing the part where he saved the lives of the only 8 living humans who weren't pure evil. God is a dad. Plain and simple. He is the Father of all Humanity. Like any dad, he wants what is best for his kids, even when they don't understand, or when they hate him for it. He wants them to visit, to talk to him, he wants to treat them every once in a while, and give them guidance and courage when they are afraid and confused. He wants them to get along with each othe. It's true, sometimes you have to have disagreements and confront people when they are doing things that harm themselves and others, because that's what you do when you love about someone. The most important thing in all of scripture is Love. "And now, these three remain, faith, hope, and love, but the greatest of these is love."-1 Corinthians 13:13. I do believe the bible gives us moral lessons to live by, but the purpose is to enrich the lives of those around us, not beat them over the head with it. We as humans don't always do a good job of portraying it, but that is the essence of what Christianity stands for, and after years of study of my own, it is what i believe in.

To anybody who took the time to read this wall of text, have a fantastic day. All the best.

I think religion was a way for our ancestors to explain the unexplainable. we all came from the same small tribe and from early ancestors. with time,we spread and depending where they ended up, a culture developed and religious beliefs evolved. That explains the variety in religions. If god does exist, why would one god be above another and it never made sense to me to preach that anyone who doesn't believe in their god, they'll go to hell. it's illogical to me. with time I think the unexplainable is being explained. i think the biggest question we have is where did we come from? I honestly don't believe that there is bearded person up there looking down at us. how can something like that be even logical?! when it comes to life after death, think of it this way. The phone you are watching this video is made up of atoms. you are also made up of atoms. the only difference between you and the phone is that the atoms are arranged differently on the phone. if your molecules were arranged the same way as the phone, then you'd be a phone. it makes no sense for your atoms to be special for them to have a special place in heaven. when I die,my atoms will just become part of the universe once again, just like everything else. religions and gods are a man made creation. but, Religions will definitely keep existing until we answer most important questions that we have. if you want to take the concept of god, then I believe we are each other's god and we create a heaven for ourselves and for others with our actions. our actions define us and make us good or bad. it's common sense to know that we must be good and whether I pray or not does not make me a good or bad person. anyways,it's my opinion,no offence to anyone.

He is the only reason I have gotten through sixteen years of life. I am so thankful for him and for my Heavenly Father and their love for me. It lifts me up and leads me toward goodness. God is real. I know better than I know my times tables that God is real. I am so thankful to have Him in my life 🙂

I agree with the first part of your introduction. I disagree with the latter. Just because something can sometimes bring like minded individuals together such as a church does not make it truthful or correct. I believe that Jesus is not a factual being. It is believing in something in general, be it life itself or your mom, you will feel stronger, more empowered, more self-assured, and safer. That is all. I believe we all just need to find something that we KNOW to exist, non arguable, not compromisable, just there, to have, to love, to believe in. Then, we could all get along, all understand each other, judge less, and hopefully force ideas upon each other less.

I don't believe in God as a man or women or animal or anything like that. though, there has to SOMETHING that is "god" weather it's some universal force or even something like the sun! I just don't know what God is, but there is something that is "god". cause something had to of created all this. I don't know a lot of things and I may never get answers, but what I do know is the sun brings life, water, and other things, so I really think those special things that bring life and keep life moving are something to be embraced or "worshipped" in a way. anyone get what I'm trying to say?

And yet what defines trying to live a "Good life"?
A quote by CS Lewis really resonates with me, bringing to harsh reality that we are at the end of the day, limited in what we can do as humans.

“Now we cannot…discover our failure to keep God’s law except by trying our very hardest (and then failing). Unless we really try, whatever we say there will always be at the back of our minds the idea that if we try harder next time we shall succeed in being completely good. Thus, in one sense, the road back to God is a road of moral effort, of trying harder and harder. But in another sense it is not trying that is ever going to bring us home. All this trying leads up to the vital moment at which you turn to God and say, “You must do this. I can’t.”

I'm agnostic, I don't claim to know whether there is or isn't a God. I tend not to like organized religion and I dislike religious people who try to control other people's lives or claim that they know what is right and what is wrong. But I also respect that people are going to have their own beliefs and that's fine with me as long as they don't try to push their beliefs onto me. I don't like when religion is inserted into politics. I believe in science and think that policies should be based upon verifiable facts and not on people's feelings. That being said, I do have some spirituality and I would like to work on it more. I do feel that the universe is connected and there is some force or power that binds us all together. I like to believe that there is something beyond death, I don't know what it is, but I believe in the conservation of energy. I believe that everyone has an energy and when they die, their energy goes somewhere. But my mind questions itself a lot… some days I feel more spiritual than others, some days I feel like I don't believe in anything, and other days I feel like the world is beautiful and everything is connected and makes sense. It's just such a complicated topic to which we will never have a definitive answer, that it's hard to make up my mind or believe something for sure.

The way I like to look at it is that all of these religions are simply different facets of the same higher being/s, all of these gods different faces of the same being/s. This is so those who need a certain way of life can have theirs, and those who don't need a way of life but need a higher being can have one that they believe in. I don't know if that makes any sense but there it is.

I'm reminded of Wallace Stevens's famous idea, that poets give "Sounds passing through sudden rightnesses" ("Of Modern Poetry"). Perhaps all we have in our postmodern world are a lot of sounds and a lot of people trying to interpret those sounds for us. But in the end, I think I choose to believe in the Christian narrative–even though I have lost all immediacy of belief or essentialism–because it is a sudden rightness, something that will suffice. Even C.S. Lewis, a fine Christian apologist, called the crucifixion the "true myth." Myth here means shaping true story. True, I think, is the word I have to continue to wrestle with.

To put it simply. Existence or god created in order to expirience it's fully infinite potential. And then we came along, aspects of this source believing we are seperate from it and from one another, not realizing the god we seek is everything. Today, many are awakening spirituslly to love, the unifying force of remembrance of what we really are- connected to one another, different aspects of the same essence that forgot what we are. But in remembering that we ARE this god (nothing special, so is everything else) we unlock the truth, that we created this, and that we are connected to all, and that we are infinite, and that we all is divine, and in doing so can unlock our evolutionary potential as god realizing itself through us, and expirience "enlightenemnt" or "spiritual realization". You are god. And you are one with all 🙂

This woman from Arizona shouldn't speak about a religion she doesn't know about she said God liked slaves wtf Bible are u reading the Bible literally says do not be diverse be together it also does say treat your masters right it means a servant which used to be called slaves people would work for other people and get payed and a place to stay now so get your facts straight and God made a woman and man to go together no matter what you do if you repent that sin and hate it and turn away from it God will forgive you and you will go to heaven if u believe in him so God is good I just hate how people misinterpret the Bible

It is perfectly acceptable to question: what is? what is not? how does this work? why doesn't that work? why are people the way they are? why aren't more people like this or that? why are there so many opinions? can I accept opinions that I don't like? … what does it mean to accept?… why don't others see what I see? why can't I see what others see? We are curious beings, and we are wonderfully made. We are not perfect, but we have the potential to grow.

This video is excellent! For someone who is only 20 years old, you are so good at outlining the questions and the dilemmas we face. I love your questioning mind and your willingness to admit that you don't have all the answers. I am a follower of Jesus and so is my husband. We are in our sixties now but you and your girlfriend remind me of how we were! Adventurers and seekers of truth. For me, I began to envy Christians and their assurance. It kinda made me mad,,,they are so arrogantly sure they're right! I wanted God to give me an epiphany but I realized I had to ask Him for it. When I asked Him to forgive my sin and come into my heart(not sure I really believed I had sin but this is what people said I should do)He took that tiny shred of faith and gave me the "experience" I needed. He filled me with faith that He IS real and He sent Jesus.Jeremiah 29:13 says"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." He stands by that. If you keep seeking with all your heart, you will find Him.

There's one way to Our Father in Heaven and that's by His Son Jesus Christ. We are living in the year of The LORD 2017 and since John the Baptist, Jesus the Christ proclaimed: The Kingdom of God is at hand; Repent and believe in the Gospel!

I do believe in God. I am a Cathloic. I have faith, and I can just feel the presents of God and Jesus Christ at moments in my life. You should pray, and talk to God. And who knows, he could talk back. Then you could have that experience you have not had yet, but want to.

There is only one God and that is Jesus Christ. And who are we to tell others what is true? We don't have to because God already has in is word, the Bible. God is the ultimate authority not the Christian. So open up the Bible and find out for yourself.

Since I wasn't raised with religion, I feel like I always was in the position of "observing" faith, God, and people that believe.
I never felt part of it and never wanted to be part of it. My first time seeing a service in a church, I was 15. I felt very uncomftable because it looked like a theater play to me (the dress ups, the rituals…), after the service, everyone was super nice and as you said too: they seem to have this inner peace.
Nevertheless, for me personally (after travelling the word for quite a bit) religion is something that will always be part of societies, but I think humans are not important enough to have a "God" as we picture it.
How can we have a God just for us? Doesn't that sound narcissistic?
I believe in nature. Humans are part of it, even tough sometimes I feel like they don't want to. Because they feel… more important.

I think that over the years language has been a big factor in misunderstanding. Saying "him" doesn't equate to gender. Like using "son" back then it was used to say someone's offspring. We are all sons.

Read this for a Christians perspective. It's about knowledge & understanding
I believe that the world think they understand Christianity and the reality is they don't. It's not about heaven or hell. Doing what a book told you to do. It's a relationship and preserving that relationship with God. He is love, and there a purpose behind the things written in it, science has even proven many thing that were stated in this 2,000 + year old book. Like it says to wash ur hands when dealing with sick. we overlooked it but their was purpose behind it. It's about faith. We may not understand it but we can ask God for understanding. Don't immediately doubt because you have to prove it according to the rules and laws of the Bible. We say ok let me try God out and then give up but neglect the law of Having faith and being steadfast. We don't give up on sports that easily when we don't see results Why do that to the almighty God.

Look at it this way. When we die and we stand before God he will either welcome us or cast us away saying I never knew u. It's the same with us Why would you let a stranger in your home,p. Your kingdom, you don't let strangers in your house, especially people who cast you aside after you begged and sent different messengers to inform them and they constantly denied. So get to know him. Seek him. If you want to.

It's about our souls. Every law. I refer to it as law because the Bible is the guidelines, the instructions to understanding Christianity, so to speak. We say why he kills if he's loving. But forget when the Bible also says Satan rules the earth. Don't u know we are ultimately responsible for what we do. The Bible says the wages of sin is death and that doesn't necessarily means physical but spiritual death. When u are spiritual dead you are far from God spiritual presence. You're surrounded by chaos already but you cant see it and you can't feel it because you aren't in God. Meaning praying and fasting everyday. When you do that and live according to the God you become part of Gods kingdom, you inherit his promises, which is life and life abundantly. Peace etc. you become spiritually powerful from attacks of Satan, attacks against your family, finances and mind. We are spiritual being, don't forget that. so many of our issues are spiritual and can only be fraught with spiritual weapons.

The Bible says the word or the Bible is the Sword of the spirit.. it (well not it but the author, who wrote it, he wrote it because that's what he learning in his walk as a Follower of Christ) but it says we wrestle not with flesh and blood but principalities.

There are dimensions to God. He is Supernatural after all.
You have to change your approach to this. If it is Devine why approach it will a natural bias. You have to think infinitely. Ask God to change your thinking to give you understanding. And when u seek him all things will be added unto you.

Oskar, thank you so much for having a curious heart and for sharing your experiences with us. I really enjoy whatching the experiences you and alexa have had on your trip. this episode was cool to look and think about after.
I personally believe in God and I agree with you when you say that He is pure love. I have had an experience with him some what in a similar way to what some of the people in your video were saying but in a more heart aspect. not as dramatic. What I can tell you is that God loves every single person in exisistance and he wants relationship with all of us. If you want God to reveal himself to you all you have to do is ask. Now I cant promise that it will be in a huge dramatic way. God reveals himself to us all in different ways because we are all different. I can promise that God will reveal himself to you if you ask him too and you mean it genuinely wanting to hear back. Ask with an open heart. not a synical one. Also be open to accept him into your heart. Thats what I believe and have seen in my life. Everyone is different and has their own experiences and im thankful that we all can believe what we choose to. Any pressure from any one to believe anything through force gets us no where. Thanks for sharing your experiences. I enjoy whatching your series. Keep it up. Hope you end up posting more.

God Religion Spirituality: Those that believe in God or other beliefs want to share what Christians call the "Good News". It's a personal thing that made us change the way we think, made us feel good, so we want that for other people, but some people see that as a negative thing. In reality we just want everyone to experience what we did.

If you don't know god or don't understand him or his teachings but want to learn sit down find a bible or watch a movie (may I recommend the movie "Exodus: Gods & Kings" or "Son of God") about the book of Exodus. In my opinion it's one of the best stories and it shows just a little about who god is. He's not a dictator who tells all of us what to do and how to do it but if you do find yourself lost or need someone to talk to you he'll be there even if you feel like you've done awful things in life that could never lead to anything good. Just look to Moses who was a loyal servant of God but before he was a murder, committed adultry, and many other sins. If you repent your sins (I'm Catholic so we go to confession and have our sins cleared) you will find everlasting love with god 🙂 have a nice day

There is a lot of evidence to look at about the Bible… archeology, prophecy, authenticity of copies, uniqueness of Jesus, Creationism, mathematical impossibilities for randomness. Check out some of that stuff if you want to know more. The Bible says if you look for Him with all your heart you’ll find Him. Keep lookin!😀

I'm a SDA ( Seventh-Day Adventist) I believe in God, not just because my parents instilled, (even though that is a good reason for me) but because what he has done personally in my life. I think its a good idea to spread the gospel, but sometimes just quoting scripture isnt the only way to spread the message. I Think the most effective way, is to express your personal testimony and how God has come through in your life. I can say for my self, there everything that has happened all of the trials that i've overcame was because of God being there for me through that time. Not have a christian (SDA, Catholic, Mormon ect) will have the same experience with God and relationship with someone else. even though they have different teachings and beliefs. Its all down to what relationship with God is! above everything else that is the most important. Pls Comment if you disagree or agree 🙂
