As a Christian I disagree. Christianity is something you choose to submit your life to, it’s not and should not be forced upon anyone.
What needs to happen is instead of having public schools funded by tax, every parent should receive a voucher for each child to use at any school they choose and pay extra if the school fees are higher than public schools.
This will stop public schools going crazy with transgender crap, because most people will leave for a school that doesn’t force that on people.
Parents can choose to send their children to a Christian, Catholic, atheist… whatever school.
This is how Sweden does it, it also make the state schools up their game so they don’t go out of business.

BullS.. religion should not be taught in schools.. qua ran will over take the Bible and our culture will be completely desecrated. Let parents do the religious teaching and keep school for the real stuff.

But what religion is taught in the public schools since there are students of many different faiths? Religion belongs at home and church but not at school.

Religion ( all religions) is nothing more than a Festival of Ignorance ( Faith) and a Parade of Propaganda ( Religious Texts and ceremonies ). Grow up people and stop believing in Fairytales. Take it away Lemmy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1grhmdzoHrw

I remember being molested by a child raping Catholic priest.
Religion is a business to rape rob sodemise and murder the innocent.
Those who died an atrocious death while on their knees praying would agree if they could, as would the children that begged for help while being raped by Epstein and co.
There is no saviour for them or you.

Bull shit ! A survey of 1,000 poorly selected persons will give rubbish results. 1,000 parents is just one small school and I am willing to bet a catholic school want in the mix. It should be a survey of 100 state and independent school, no catholic or other religion based schools; just average Australians. You would find 80% plus say NO religion instruction.

I remember in primary school a teacher told me and my sister that we were going to burn in hell for ever because my family are atheists. Nice we are supporting this sort of thing. How about we actually teach maths, English, science, economics, history, geography etc. you know, actual knowledge?

Yes. The first verse we need to teach every Australian woman is, 1 Corinthian 14:34-35

34 Women[a] should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

Now, if a woman is so stupid that she can't learn that basic teaching, then there is no point to them wasting money and going to school.
