Two Minute Meditation

So long, since you’ve been at peace. You used to know how to come here… As a child. It’s a place in your head. Focus on the water. It’s a bit of an illness to keep wanting more. This spot isn’t glamorous… …It’s what’s all around, when we focus. This permanently exists, amidst the noise. Don’t be afraid. It’ll always be here… …Waiting for you… … When you need it.

A little creepy, in a cult-like way. I'd prefer the video without the intermittent voiceover.

I appreciate the style in which 'school of life' present ideas and practices, I personally am not the sort to buy self help books or things along those lines, but I have bought a school of life book and I think perhaps an 'art of meditation' book is overdue

Meditation can help relieve the burden that our overbearing mind is creating. It can calm down the process of constant thoughts and other badstates of the mind. But it will only do that if you meditate, if you stop meditating the mind will come back and you have to start over again. Meditation is not the key to overcome the mind permantly, there is only 1 thing that does. Google Truthcontest click on the earth icon and read the Present, it explains the real Truth about the mind and life in general, it is the only way to overcome the badstates of mind because it will change your view on life and as a result your mind.

I slept on my patio last night. I have a set of low-buck speakers that are placed at either side of the mattress, which I plug into my phone. I selected a playlist from this channel and drifted off to sleep.

I thought I was dreaming, as I awoke to birds chirping I became aware of this beautiful soothing voice saying "it's in your head"… I can't say I have ever felt so at peace or relaxed as I felt waking to this.

Real meditation is losing your ego. Not about pleasing your emotions. Sadness a happiness are two ends of a staff. Letting go of your self and becoming one with nature(matter) is true medicine.

I love the imagery, the voice, the silent moments

What I don't like is the script ~ it's got a judgy tone in its negative focused on the past, e.g. "it's been so long since you've been at peace" is not a great thing to say to someone who is trying to maintain calm with their past and present.
